Songs For Rolling Stones (1961), the historic second studio album by the king of Australian country music, Slim Dusty And His Bushlanders. This is the highly sought-after original first pressing on the iconic forest green Columbia Records label (33OSX 7642).
Long before the British rock band took the name, Slim used "Rolling Stones" to celebrate the drifters, swaggies, and travelers of the Australian outback. Features early country masterpieces like "Born To Be A Rolling Stone," "The Road To Gundagai," and "Whiskey Blues." LP housed in VG+ picture sleeve with vinyl showing a couple of faint scuffs plays thru fine.VINYL GRADING SCALE

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
