This auction is for....
Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake - Pink Label Stereo Version.
This is an original copy from 1968.
The cover has had it! It's been repaired at some point over the last 50 years with sellotape but that has pretty much dried out & this is now just a collection of circular, tatty leaves.
The interesting thing here is the record. This is the much rarer STEREO version on pink Immediate labels.
It's been cleaned & play tested. It sounds really good! There's a little background crackle during quieter moments, this is more noticeable during Stanley Unwin's spoken parts on side 2, but it's still a good listen & plays though with no skips or sticking. The vinyl is stored away from the cover in a new poly-lined inner sleeve.
Overall this is a chance to get a rare version of this classic album with a low start price
Stampers on the run-out are (side 1) IMSP 012 1Y=2 & (side 2) IMSP 012 2Y2
The vinyl has been washed in a Knosti Disco Anti-stat cleaner to prevent any static build up. This cleaning solution can sometimes leave light residue marks on the labels, but You can be sure Your record is as clean as possible with no trace of static!
All vinyl graded visually unless stated.
I always grade CONSERVATIVELY. I would prefer any buyer to be surprised with the condition of their record, rather than disappointed.
I will use a purpose made, STRONG cardboard mailer, Your record won't arrive just sandwiched between 2 pieces of card!
