Description
Over the next few months I am listing my entire collection of vinyl albums. This is my personal collection bought by me from the 1970’s onwards. The albums are not collector standard. These are my albums which I have bought and played over the years. All albums have a 99p starting price.
OK, a couple of random classics to list today.
Now, are you all sitty comftabold two-square on your botty? Good, then I'll begin.
First up we have an absolute classic of British Psychedelic Pop, from the Small Faces, 1968's Ogdens Nutgone Flake
I absolutely love this album. I bought this very copy when I was 13 years old the day it was released. I was a massive Small Faces fan, fanclub member,bought all the singles (couldn't afford many albums). I even had the haircut. ONGF was such a revelation when it was released. The innovative sleeve, and the 'concept' of the psychedelic fairytale on side 2. Even after all these years I can still recite most of Prof Stanley Unwins narrative. Superb, superb album from start to finish.
The Small Faces....what a band. Steve Marriot , Ronnie Lane, Ian McClagan and Kenny Jones. Saw them live at Sheffield Top Rank in 1968 just after ONGF had been release. What a gig.
I'm not enough of a vinyl expert to use the Record Collectore grading system so I wont try.
Please read the description very carefully if you intend to bid.
The Sleeve of ONGF, although innovative and delightful, was not built to last. On my copy, the junctions of the round sections have been repaired / strengthened with invisible tape. The tape is not very noticable, but, it is there. On the plus side, it means the sleeve wont fall apart like most copies of this album did. On the blank white faces of the sleeve sections where the album was housed there are marks from old sellotape where I had stuck a few pictures of the band (Come on, I was 13). Other than that, the sleeve aint too bad at all . no rips or tears or damage, and a delight on the eye.
The poly bag liner is original. It is very wrinkled and has a tear in one side.
The vinyl is in very good condition for its age and considering that at one point it was never off my record player. There are a couple of pops and skips, but it is still very playable and very enjoyable.
All albums are shipped in a cardboard album mailer.

I only charge actual cost of postage and packing and do not charge extra for Paypal.

I will expect to receive Paypal payment from all winners within 3 days of receiving my invoice, cheque/postal order payment from UK bidders within 7 days. . An email to say you have posted cheques/postal orders would also be appreciated.
If you are intending to bid on several items which finish over a number of days and want to hold back on payments so you can combine postage, drop me a line to tell me what you are doing so I wont start worrying if you havnt paid for your first item. I'm more than happy to do this as it does cut down postage costs for the winning bidder
