Description
Selling my very scarce original demo pressing of Sha-La-La-La-Lee by the Small Faces. This is a 1966 mod classic on solid UK Decca pressing.
A label, F.12317. 1966
4 prong push out centre intact.
Label A side has 1 - 2cm dark circular stain over cat. number and a couple of spindle lines.
I have only very rarely played this and visually the vinyl has a lovely bright sheen and just some very light hairlines - it's a Near Mint grading, a real gem.
I've cleaned and play tested both sides, listening quality summarised below:
The A side Sha-la-la-la-lee has a few faint crackles at the start. Plays Excellent all the way through with no pops, skips or jumps. High quality audio reproduction, clear vocals, guitars and organ. No loss of sound quality. Only a faint background crackle audible on the organ links and at run out. Superb copy.
The B side Grow Your Own instrumental sounds awesome, hectic organ and clear guitar 'twang', everything is crystal clear, no background noise, no reduction in sound quality - just a few crackles at start and run out. Excellent.
Housed inside a Decca company sleeve. This has very light wear - VG+.
