Condition Description & Other Information ## First Step is the debut studio album by the English rock band Faces, released on 27 March 1970 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was released only a few months after the Faces had formed from the ashes of the Small Faces (from which Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan hailed) and The Jeff Beck Group (from which Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood hailed). The album cover shows Ronnie Wood holding a copy of Geoffrey Sisley's seminal guitar tutorial First Step: How to Play the Guitar Plectrum Style. While the album was recorded after the group's official formation and signing to Warner Bros. Records in the Autumn of 1969, the band members had been rehearsing, performing and recording together in various combinations since May of that year! ##  The Vinyl is described as VG+ but I can assure you that it plays to Excellent, well above its grading, average background & no skips or stops. Side 1 at the very end of A2 beginning of A3, there is a tiny buff, which when played through made 4 x background clicks... barely noticeable. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained a really nice lustre. The Cover is described as Excellent. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some very minor colour losses to edges & spine. No seam splits.  Please see attached photos...
