Smash The State - A Compilation Of Canadian Punk Rock, Volume One, 1979 - 1981

Ultra Rare!! Only 1,000 Copies Pressed!!!

First came the book and then, in 1994, the infamous 12 inch with 6 bands performing 18 tracks of original core! These bands from across the country were part of the Canadian pioneers of punk prosterity! Featured bands include ARSON, The Dry Heaves, The Fits, The Hot Nasties, The Rock and Roll Bitches and Sturgeons each performing several tracks, some never before released including ARSON's Pretty Girls!

This collection is rare as only 1,000 pressings in total were released on the No Exit label in 1994. Included with the package are some inserts featuring posters, photos and dialogue from the bands themselves. Having been part of this scene back then, I located a few copies of this piece of history and am making it available to collectors. Never played, virgin vinyl as it was pressed and packaged, no plastic wrap so, no warpage.
