Description
The Smashing Pumpkins "Adore"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Caroline 45879 from 1998. This was their fourth studio album. It is a double album in a gatefold cover ( side four is blank ). The records play in Mono. The records have custom labels that are red with gold printing. The bar code is printed on a sticker on the back cover : 0 17046 7559 1 7. The gatefold cover is made of thick cardboard.
The band is : Billy Corgan, James Iha, D'Arey Wretzky, and Jimmy Chamberlain. This album was produced by Butch Vig and Billy Corgan.
The songs are : To Sheila, Ava Adore, Perfect, Daphne Descends, Once Upon A Time, Tear, Crestfallen, Appels + Oranjes, Pug, The Tale Of Dusty And Pistol Pete, Annie-Dog, Shame, Behold The Night Mare, For Martha, and Blank Page.
The matrix numbers are hand etched : side one : V1-7243-8-45879-8-A and side two : V1-7243-8-45879-1-8-B, and side three : V1-7243-8-45879-1-8-c.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Records are VG- & VG+
The gatefold cover is VG+, with no writing and no seam splits. There is light front cover wear. The vinyl on side one looks VG and it plays VG-, with handling marks and static in the quiet parts. But, there are many pops at the end of song one and two skips and circular scuffs on song two. The rest of the record looks VG+, with light handling marks and very light static. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The records come in plain white inner sleeves.

I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 2 pounds 2 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 34 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail. I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.
