Description

A REISSUE of GISH on CAROLINE labels in Cherry Red vinyl. Matrix A1/B1. I presume the reissue comes from some point in the last ten years - for the UK market. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with a generic white inner sleeve [Not like the bespoke 1st inners]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In super condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are just a couple of light marks - one tiny one does sound very briefly [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Relatively quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. By and large an excellent player. Crank it right up and this baby will deliver. I'm detecting a touch of background in a couple of the quieter moments e.g. Siva & Window. But nothing upfront or troubling. I also detected a couple of clicks in a couple of isolated spots in track 1. And one solitary click in 'Bury Me' Overall - a bit of a banger..
Cover (Ex+) In remarkable condition and does not look far off new. Beautifully shiny and smooth surfaces - barely a crease. Not even the faintest hint of ageing or deterioration. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Four pointy corners. Spine is 100% perfect. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Smart with no splits.
