Description

A REISSUE of GISH on CAROLINE labels on pink vinyl. Matrix A1/B1. I presume the reissue comes from some point in the last ten years - pressed in Germany. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with a generic white inner sleeve [Not like the bespoke 1st inners]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are just a couple of light marks - which do sound briefly. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Nice quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Crank it right up and this baby will deliver. The deviations are ...10 ticks in the guitar squeal/drone at the end of Rhinoceros. It cleans out totally as the bass powers in for the beginning of 'Bury Me'...so not much of a problem. The only 'in track issue' was a few ticks and a couple of clicks in the first section of 'Window Paine' - this first section is sub-par so please buy in full knowledge of that.  Otherwise - Great audio....<<<
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In remarkable condition and does not look far off new. Beautifully shiny and smooth surfaces - barely a crease. Not even the faintest hint of ageing. Hardly any edge wear - just one tiny scuff extreme bottom right corner [no problem at all]. Sharp openings. Spine is 100% perfect. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
