Description

This is purportedly a promotional picture disc for Smashing Pumpkins’ 2000 album MACHINA/the Machines of God. However, it is in fact a BOOTLEG from the same time - NOT an official release, despite their best attempts to pass it off as such by including the Hut and Virgin logos. And yet they misspelled Smashing “Pumkins” in the fine print. The tracklist is different from the album’s official two-LP release, leaving off “Try Try Try,” “Glass and the Ghost Children,” and all of Side D. Still, it is a pretty cool item! The album cover is displayed on one side while artwork from the album booklet is displayed all over the other. But you need to know it is counterfeit.


It’s in great condition. I bought it on ebay around the time of its release and played it probably twice.
