Description

Up for auction is a very, very rare UK 3 LP pressing of the classic Smashing Pumpkins release "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness".  This was a very limited numbered edition pressing from England, and this one is no. 12946.  There is also a Made in England sticker on the front.  The gorgeous gatefold sleeve is in excellent to near mint condition.  I am the original owner and have always kept it in a plastic protective sleeve.  It has only been played a coupe of times on a high end VPI turntable with Benz Micro cartridge.  So, the records are near mint. I bought it from the audiophile mail order outlet Music Direct when it was released for around $40.  Very few were imported to the US.  This title rarely comes on vinyl to Ebay.
