Description
You are bidding on a rare OOP Original copy of The Smashing Pumpkins "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" 3xLP Gatefold Vinyl. HUTTLP30. This is the rare 1996 first press, unnumbered version with the white box on the cover. SP collectors claim that this was part of the first press of 5000 copies. I've owned this since 2000, so I can verify that it is not a bootleg. 12 page 12x12 booklet included.
Vinyl condition - I haven't played this very much at all. Last time was easily 5-6 years ago. All vinyl is shiny/new looking. All vinyl may have a fingerprint or two on it due to handling for this auction. All LP's have the HUT stamps on them.
SIDE A - NM, shows slight handling.
SIDE B - NM, shows slight handling.
SIDE C - NM, shows slight handling, one very small scratch present.
SIDE D - NM, shows slight handling
SIDE E - NM-, shows some minor sleeve scuffs and a few superficial scratches.
SIDE F - NM-, shows some minor sleeve scuffs and a few superficial scratches.
Sleeve condition - Near Mint condition. One slight corner ding on the bottom left side. Two very slight seam splits (about an 1inch) on the top of the gatefold sleeves. Also, one slight crease on the back right part of the sleeve. Records will be shipped outside of the sleeve to preserve sleeve condition.
Always stored in a poly sleeve and safely from any elements. Please keep in mind that this record is over 16 years old. Definitely not a brand new copy, but a very, very nice one to say the least. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding, as this sale is final.
