Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness 3LPs Numbered 1st Press

This listing is for a very rare Triple LP version of the album by Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins.

This is the limited numbered edition 1st pressing of this album on vinyl that was only released in Europe.

There are unnumbered versions that came later, but this is a numbered version with Number 17508.

This vinyl triple LP was released in 1996 on Virgin Records in conjunction with Hut Recordings.

It is Virgin ?Barcode #  724384165512 and Hut Recordings ?Serial #  HUTTLP 30.

This release has a Gatefold sleeve with blank die-cut poly-lined paper inner sleeves and also comes with a 12 page 12"x12" booklet.

The sound quality on this set is outstanding as it was transferred to vinyl using Direct Metal Mastering (DMM).

This release also features two songs, track 3 (Tonite Reprise) and track 5 (Infinite Sadness) on Side F, that are not included on the CD or cassette versions of the album.

While this set is technically used as it's no longer in shrink wrap, the records themselves are in Excellent or Near Mint condition as they have literally only been played once and have absolutely no signs of visible where. They might have some light dust, but that's it.

The album sleeve I would grade as Very Good to Very Good+. The jacket has some minor shelf wear on some of the edges, and several creases in the corners of the album. But there are absolutely no seam splits, no writing of any kind, or tears.

In fact the creases in the corners of jacket were actually already there when it sealed and new, but at the time it was the only one, so I bought it anyway.

The polylined inner paper sleeves for each record have some minor creases but no tears or splits in the seams.

The booklet insert is very good condition. It is clean with no tears, rips, or writing, just some very minor wear.

Stored in a smoke free home.

I have been the only owner of this set since it was purchased new in 1996.

Please see the various images on this listing for further details on the condition of the records and the album jacket.
