Description

This was given to me as a very generous Christmas present but having also very luckily received the 5 CD+DVD deluxe box of this superb album as a present(as well as a second vinyl box which I have already sold), it means I wont ever need to play this vinyl version. It is too nice a set to leave unplayed on a shelf so I am offering it here for another Smashing Pumpkins fan to enjoy.

It is the lovely and, from what I have read on the internet about common flaws on the US pressing, superior European pressing of the classic 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness' album by The Smashing Pumpkins, on 4 x 180g vinyl LPs with two booklets, all housed in a lovely hard/rigid cardboard slipcase. It is still factory sealed from new with just a couple of very small dents to a couple of corners which must have happened after it had been wrapped in Christmas paper and before I got a chance to unwrap it. The dents really are very small but have to be mentioned for the sake of completeness, and I have included some close up pictures so you can see exactly where they are.

As I said, this is the EU pressing and has the tiny 'Printed in the EU' text at the bottom of the rear cover(too small to see in the pictures), and is also demonstrated as the EU version by the rear of the box cover which is missing the 'Parental Advisory' logo of the US pressing, and these EU versions are now commanding a premium due to buyers of the US pressing experiencing problems with jumps/skips on some US copies and inner groove distortion on a lot of the US ones too.

It will be very securely packed to ensure safe delivery to its new owner.

Overseas shipping at cost but please check for prices before buying. It will not be cheap to ship overseas because insurance and a signed for service is required and the box will be quite large and heavy, though I will obtain the lowest price I can and I will only charge at cost.

Please could all overseas bidders check for insured airmail shipping prices BEFORE bidding, and understand that any customs charges are the responsibility of the winner of the auction to pay.

Please feel free to email me if you need more information, and please check my feedback and bid with confidence - I describe honestly (some would say harshly, as I prefer to err on the side of caution) and pack meticulously so the item will arrive with you in exactly the same condition it leaves me.

No bidders with negative feedback please, and could all bidders with a feedback of less than 10 please contact me before bidding or risk having your bid cancelled. All overseas bidders MUST pay via Paypal - I will not accept any other type of payment from overseas buyers, and please don't bother me with the 'I will pay you 10x the amount via cheque and get my representative to pick up the item' scams. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
