Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Vinyl 3xLP. I believe this to be the European unofficial release version as it does not have the white box in the bottom right corner with the number, nor does it have the blank white box in the bottom right corner which are the only two official releases of the triple LP.
All three discs have only been played twice. Once when I first got them many years ago and once before I listed them today. The vinyl is clean with some light surface marks and hairlines from the inner sleeve. Nothing major nor anything that could be felt with your finger on the vinyl, just some light surface marking. One of the discs has a little bit of excess vinyl material around the edge (see last photo, photo #12). It’s not major and I never really noticed it until I started taking photos to list it. It does not affect play whatsoever but I thought it should be mentioned.
Vinyl plays all the way through with no skipping. There is light crackling throughout the album on the tracks that have soft/quiet passages. I have owned three of these versions over the years that I bought brand new and all of them have had the soft crackling in the quiet passages so I’m thinking this may be true of all of these pressings and is the case with a lot of unofficial releases. Otherwise the audio sounds great! It’s not majorly distracting but I definitely wanted to mention it as this album does have many tracks with soft/quiet parts so you will hear some of that light crackling and I want the buyer to have appropriate expectations. Sides E and F are improperly marked. The tracks for side E are actually on side F and vise versa. This is the case on all of these pressings.
The front cover has 3 or 4 light creases along the spine maybe 1/2-1 inch. Mainly noticeable when you tilt the album under a bright light and the light hits them just right. Otherwise the cover is in excellent condition. See photos 10&11. Due to these light creases I would rate the jacket VG+.
It includes the original booklet/insert artwork in color. Insert is in excellent condition. There are some light fingerprints on the black inner sleeves. See photos.
