Smiths 12 x PROMO SAMPLE records from Japan
Description
For sale is a group of Smiths records you won't likely see again soon - A complete collection of their first Japanese vinyl pressings, all of which are Sample/Promotional copies. Japanese pressings are already sought after for their high quality and rarity. Far rarer than stock copies, these promotional records are all imprinted on the label to indicate their promotional nature, and they all have promo seals on the cover. (All releases up to 'The Queen is Dead' have white 'SAMPLE' seals. From 'The World Won't Listen' the Japanese distributor changed to Victor from Tokuma, and promotional seals changed to red with 3 Japanese characters ??? meaning 'sample'.)
It took me many years of searching record shops here before I could compile a complete collection of these Japanese promo pressings (and I live in Japan!) Now they can all be yours.
All records also come with their original obis and lyrics/band history inserts.

Condition:
All the records are Near Mint or better. Most covers are Near Mint or better too, though a few of the covers show signs of wear. These are 'The Smiths', 'Hatful' and 'Hand in Glove', which, due to a slight bit more wear, I would rate as Near Mint Minus.
