Description
This is an original, near mint condition Smiths promotional 12" "Barbarism Begins At Home". It was issued by Rough Trade Records U.K. in 1985. It was distributed to radio stations, the music press and selected music industry V.I.P.s. It was never made available to the general public. The 12" comes in a glossy cardboard sleeve that has no split seams, rips or pen marks (see photo). The label is a black Rough Trade with "DJ Copy Not For Sale" printed on it. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1985.
