Description
You are bidding on the EP "This Is A Reflection" by Smoke Fairies. This 5 track mini album was exclusive to Rough Trade and was limited to just 300 copies. To accompany their recent 'blood speaks' album, smoke fairies recorded a set of covers rendered in their own unique way exclusively for Rough Trade. Included in the set are soulful renditions of Ann Peebles, Mark Lanegan and post punk legends Killing Joke but it's the surprises that really showcase how Jessica Davies and Katherine Blamire can twist a song, mutate a melody and wring out emotional strains you never knew existed. 'this is a refelection's' best moments are prehaps the group's takes on ABBA's 'the visitors' and The Cult's 'she sells sanctuary.
