With the singles from the first three albums that were selected for this coupling, there are already plenty of hits. However, the non-album tracks, which were completely new when it was first released, are responsible for the LP's rise to legendary status. LIVING NEXT DOOR TO ALICE was released as the first new single and was an unparalleled worldwide success. The album also has a second new single, LAY BACK IN THE ARMS OF SOMEONE, which also became a top hit. The album achieved platinum status in Germany and was in the charts for 67 weeks, including 8 weeks at number 1 and also in the top 10 in many other countries, including the band's home market, England, with a #6 placement.
