Description

A first press recording on the Folk-Lyric label of New Orleans-based blues men Snooks Eaglin (guitar) and Percy Randolph (harmonica). This recording is a first press release as indicated by the Morning Glory street address on the back cover and the plain black label.


This record has been cleaned and play-graded. The record surfaces are rated as VG+, with clean surfaces and very little surface noise. there are no needle sticks or repetitive loud clicks.

This record is in its original inner paper sleeve. The record cover is in overall VG condition - the front cover is clean and unmarked except for a retail sticker in the upper right corner; the back cover has some staining and a name written in the upper left corner (see photos). There is moderate ring wear. The spine is intact but both seams are split about three inches long. The labels are clean and unmarked with very little spindle wear.

This record is from my personal collection and I have decided it’s now time to start selling most of my records. I bought this LP in New condition around 60 years ago and it has been carefully stored and occasionally played since.
