Description
Prestige Bluesville 1046, “That’s All Right” with Snooks Eaglin, guitar and vocals, from 1962. Trident-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Original-color jacket has cracking on upper spine and paper loss on upper seam for about 4 inches, as well as ringwear (see scan); lower seam has medium wear; jacket back is basically clean with no writing and has the usual “RW” factory stamp. Songs are “Mama Don’t You Tear My Clothes”, “Mailman Passed”, “I’m A Country Boy”, “I’ve Got a Woman”, “Alberta”, “Brown Skinned Woman”, “Don’t You Lie to Me”, “That’s All Right”, “Well I Have Had My Fun”, “Bottle Up and Go”, “Walkin’ Blues”, “One More Drink”, and “Fly Right Baby”. Easily one of the best Bluesville issues; in this particular case, the artist was beginning a long career instead of ending one. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
