Fresh from scoring the biggest-selling UK single of the year in 1981 with ‘Tainted Love’, Soft Cell careered into a world of trouble shortly afterwards when the tapes of their tongue-in-cheek “video nasty” for ‘Sex Dwarf’ were confiscated by the police and banned for obscenity
- before they ever saw the light of day.
A long-held fan favourite from the synth duo’s debut LP ‘Non Stop Erotic Cabaret’,
‘Sex Dwarf’ has never been given a single release in the UK until now.
Pressed onto lurid pink vinyl (VERY Soft Cell) the 12” brings together the full-length album version
plus the 1982 ‘Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing’and 2007 Grid mixes.
