Here for auction is an original issue of Georg Solti conducting the V.P.O playing "Die Walkure" by Wagner....It's a 2 LP UK box set issued in 1958 by Decca.Both discs have ED1 "original recording by" label's.One has grooved label's and the other flat "pancake* (very early) label's.Matrices side 1 1E side 2 1E side 3 1E side 4 2F
This set is an ex UK library copy.
Vinyl's. Grade EX.After a good cleaning the disc's displayed only light ,superficial marks.I sampled sections from all four sides and found the sound quality really good.Minimal surface noise and lovely clear, undistorted sound.
Box is in EX condition.A bit worn and rubbed on edges.Has some library sticker's inside and on back of box.Pretty clean overall.
Booklet EX with no problems.
Inner sleeves are plastic library one's and not original.
Label's .Three label's have stamps (seen in photo) and the other sides free of marks.
