Description
This is a Classic Records LP reissue of the RCA Victor “Living Stereo” recording of “Venice,” Solti and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, catalog number LSC-2313.
I don’t remember when I got it but it would have had to have been around the late ’80s to early ’90s. This is an older pressing, not a current reissue. The die-cut fold out cover is Near Mint and the record is Mint – I don’t recall ever playing it and saw no spindle marks on the label when I took the disc out to inspect it. The attached booklet pages have some wrinkling along the top but it looks like it could have been manufactured this way.
It comes with the original plastic outer sleeve that has the “With the complements of Classic Records” sticker on it. I got this as a promo copy.
I have been collecting records and CDs for over 45 years and have decided to begin selling items from my collection as I no longer have the time to listen or the room to keep all my records and CDs. Keep your eyes open for many more records up for auction as time goes on. All of my records have been fanatically well kept over the decades in a smoke-free home.
