Description

Somethin' Else Vinyl LP by Cannonball Adderley with Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Sam Jones and Art Blakey.

Very Early late 1950s Blue Note US pressing with matrix run outs;

RGV BN-LP-1595-A P 9M

RGV BN-LP-1595-B P 9M

The RGV are stamped. The BN-LP-1595-A and B are hand scribed. The cursive P or Plastylite ear is actually a scribed sideways B or heart shape on side 1, more like a P on side 2 . The scribed 9M, are 'sideways'. Please see photos.

The LP plays nicely considering its age, with a few minor pops and crackles but no skips or jumps. There are a few surface marks on side 1 which do not seem to affect play.

The label on side 1 looks to be worn likely from washing or cleaning the record. There is slight flaking of the side 2 label.

The catalogue no. on the labels is BLP 1595, with the Blue Note Inc 47 West 63rd NYC address.

The inner sleeve is a poly replacement.

The LP outer sleeve has the Blue Note Inc 47 West 63rd St address. There is some wear to the corners, with slight tearing of the reverse front corners (some old sellotape here) and spine.
Overall it is in good condition commensurate with its age.
