SON HOUSE & J. D. SHORT - BLUES FROM THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA, Folkways FA-2467, wrap around jacket, with booklet.

The Son House tracks were recorded for the Library of Congress by Alan Lomax in 1942. The titles are My Black Woman, Sun Goin' Down, I Ain't Goin' To Cry No More, The Key of Minor, This War Will Last For Years, Was I Right Or Wrong?, County Farm Blues.
The J.D. Short sides were recorded by Sam Charters in 1962. The titles are So Much Wine, Train Bring My Baby Back, You Been Cheating Me, Charlie Patton, Fighting For Dear Old Uncle Sam.

Condition of record is E+, no scuffs, no scratches, a couple of spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket is very clean - no ring wear, no seam splits. There is a small tear on the black lining on back. Original owner has written comments next to some of the titles in booklet.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
