Up for auction here is Takoma's (John Fahey's label) release by Robbie Basho titled: "Song of the Stallion". This is an amazing album from Robbie. The title track is great, and there is some Fahey style guitar throughout. From what I've heard, John Fahey liked this album. This is one of the nicest copies I've been able to obtain. The record shows few very light marks and very minimal general wear. I don't think this copy was played very much. I play tested a few points throughout the record with a properly balanced needle and it sounded great. I wasn't able to hear the entire album, but there would be no reason to suspect any issues with playability.
The cover looks outstanding. As you can see by the photos, it has a gatefold cover, and the fold is stiff like it hasn't been opened very often in it's life. There is minimal wear on the cover (front and back). The colors are vibrant and the seams are all solid.
This is a very rare record from Robbie, so don't miss this chance to get it at a good price! The reserve is set at only $9.99.
