Very rare limited edition vinyl of the third installment of the Songs For Slim series, where artists pay tribute to Replacements guitarist Slim Dunlap by covering his songs. The record leads off with Lucinda Williams' soulful take on Slim’s signature rocker "Partners in Crime," produced by Joe Henry. The flip-side is Tommy Keene and R. Walt Vincent’s interpretation of "Nowheres Near" Slim’s brutally honest, wistful ode to the quest for the elusive brass ring. This release was limited to only 100 numbered copies, signed by Lucinda and Tommy and, like all Songs For Slim releases, features original Chris Mars artwork. This is No. 94 of 100. The picture sleeve and vinyl are in excellent like new / un-played condition. Very collectible item.
