Description

This box set has literally never been played, though there is a bit of shelf-ware from normal handling. It's really a beautiful set. I will only ship within the continental U.S. SHIPPING IS FREE!

Daydream Nation is Sonic Youth's sixth album, the band's first double LP, and last for an indie label before signing with Geffen. Widely considered to be the group's watershed moment, Daydream Nation catapulted the quartet into the mainstream and proved that indie bands could enjoy wide commercial success without compromising their artistic vision.

On this seminal pressing, the original 1988 album has been remastered under the band's supervision. The bonus platters begin with previously unreleased live performances from the Daydream Nation tour. Added to that are four studio extras. This set also includes a 16-page booklet with liner notes and unpublished photos.

Cited by Pitchfork and other highly respected music outlets as the best record made in the 1980s. A must.
