Description

SONIC YOUTH - DIRTY

(AUST. GEFFEN GEFD24485 – 2LP 1992 – LIMITED EDITION ORANGE VINYL PRESSING)

Hot on the heels of Sonic Youth’s two late 80’s/early 90’s releases, the influential ‘Daydream Nation’ and ‘Goo’, this 1992 double set was received with tremendous acclaim on release.

Featuring Youth classics as ‘100%’, ‘Sugar Kane’ and ‘Swimsuit Issue’, this is a very spirited album and further cemented their popularity during the so-called ‘Grunge Era’.

This is a now scarce original Australian Geffen Records pressing from 1992, pressed on orange vinyl. Supposedly only 200 copies were pressed on coloured vinyl.

A very fine release, and one of Sonic Youth’s most enduring!
