Sonic Youth's eleventh album "Washing Machine" is the first record to almost exclusively feature Kim on guitar rather than bass, and contains some of their lengthiest material since "Goo" and "Daydream Nation", including the epic "Diamond Sea" which drifts onward for an unprecedented 20 minutes, still the longest track on any SY album (excluding the SYR releases). Incidentally, "The Diamond Sea" would prove to be one of the band's most popular songs, and it along with SY's headlining spot on the summer Lollapalooza tour would introduce legions of new fans to their music.

Funny thing about these records I have for sale... Last June my wife and I had our first child and recently, in order to curb my cursing, I made a promise to my wife that I would stop swearing. The promise’s details were simple: swear and I would have to sell a record, then put the money into our baby boy’s savings account. So that is why you see these records for sale today and as you can see I have a few records for sell; I surely have a problem with foul language, but I am willing to try anything to stop!

Also, I have been buying records since I was a little kid and when I got older and into puck and stuff, I usually bought these records at a show or when they were released!
