Description
Sonny Boy Williamson - Down and Out Blues LP from 1959. First pressing on Checker. So. Michigan Ave address on back cover. "Sheldon" in runout groove.
vinyl condition: I graded this visually a VG. numerous marks on the vinyl. some feelable scratches. most of the luster of the vinyl is dimmed. played all the way through with no skips on a Technics SL-1700 table. it definitely plays much better than it looks. some light surface noise throughout, but no repetitious clicks or anything like that. pretty pleasant listening copy.
sleeve condition: half seam split at top and bottom. spine intact and legible. some writing in pencil on back cover. front cover photo in pretty good shape. all words on back cover are legible. not a terrible cover all told.
