Description
Blue Note 1579. Both label have 47 West 63rd NYC; 43 West 63rd St address at the bottom of the back cover. The record has "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax, no "ear". Leader, Sonny Clark, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; "Philly" Joe Jones, drums. 6 tracks ( 1 track is an unaccompanied piano solo). Name of previous owner is written 3 times on the labels (2 + 1)
Cover: Good 9" split on the top edge. Very light aging on the back cover. Faint aging on the front cover. Name of previous owner written 3 times on the back cover, date, 2 word remark (see scan).
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows very light wear with 3 rub marks, 1 of these marks is more prominent on Side 1. This mark is about 1/2" long but does not affect the sound. On Side 2, there are 3 or 4 faint rub marks and a very small more visible rub mark on Track 2. Audibly Track 1, Side l there are 3 clicks. These are random and barely audible. On Track 2, 1 faint click and 1 slightly more audible. On Track 3, 1 faint click and 2 more audible clicks near the end of the Track. No surface noise on Side 2. The record has been played with care. Audibly checked.
