Here's a hard to pressing of a a jazz classic. This is Sonny Rollins Work Time released by Prestige Records (7020). This is the original release, with a New York address on the yellow label and RVG etched in the dead wax. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder and featuring the talents of Ray Bryant, Max Roach and George Morrow.
Condition -The jacket is rough. It shows many signs of wear, including tape at the bottom that has been used to repair a split. The jacket grades at VG-. The record has been heavily played and it has collected many marks, some heavy. I listened to both sides, and the record played through on my system, but with persistent noise, low in some places, high in others. The record grades at G+ by sight, but it plays a bit better.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
