Description
Most beautiful original vintage Blue Note Mono 1581 record from 1957 first edition(?) of Sonny Rollins "Live at the Village Vanguard".
Deep Groove, no "Inc." and "R", "47West 63rd NYC" on both labels, "Ear" and "RVG" in dead wax, no address on back cover, original plain white paper inner sleeve. Did I forget something?..;o))
Record and cover are both very strong Near Mint, this is a very close to perfect copy which you will never have to upgrade anymore.
Record has never been on the collectors market before, it comes directly from the first owner, an 80 year old german jazz collector who has taken care of his records very well!

See photos, near perfect shape, high gloss lamination shows only very minor shelf wear, all spines are perfect and have no wear or splits. Cover back is clean and white showing just some very minor signs of age.
The record and labels: Strong Near Mint!
No scratches, no dirt, no needle drops, no pressing bubbles, even as good as no signs from the paper inner sleeve. Wonderful clean and shiny vinyl and labels. Other than some minor surface dust and perhaps a finger print this record is nearly perfect. It has never been cleaned before in any way!
This record has been playgraded entirely on my Ortofon SPU cartridge, it runs absolutely wonderful and quiet even in the silent passages with pure audiophile sound!
A stunning copy, fine either to collect or to listen to! Or both!
