Description
Original, deep groove on both sides with 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on both labels; 447 West 50th St., N.Y. 19, N.Y. address on the bottom of the back cover. Rollins, tenor sax on all tracks,. 4 tracks also include Kenny Dorham, trumpet; Elmo Hope, piano; Percy Heath, bass; Art Blakey, drums. 1 track also includes Thelonious Monk, piano; Tommy Potter, bass; Art Taylor, drums. All recorded in 1954.
Cover: Mint(-) Intact with the name of a former owner written in light pencil in the margin of the back cover. Minor aging on the back cover. The front cover is like new.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There is slight discoloration to the vinyl with 4 or 5 very light surface rub marks on both sides. These marks, and the discoloration, do not affect the sound. There is a small number clicks on Track 1, Side A and 4 or 5 light clicks on Track 2, Side B. Otherwise, no surface noise. I have adjusted the rating to account for the minor noise and slight discoloration described.
