Description

This is a great copy of the 1st pressing of 'Saxophone Colossus' by Sonny Rollins, which I'm selling for my Dad who bought it when it first came out in the 50s and has owned it ever since. This particular copy is in very good condition - mainly because he tells me he "didn't like it very much and so only played it half a dozen times".
The vinyl is very clean, with just a couple of very light scratches but nothing that can be felt or heard - we've played it recently to check. My Dad, who is now 93, is a jazz drummer and was a big fan of Max Roach, who appears on this record along with Tommy Flanagan and Doug Watkins.
The sleeve is in good condition with a bit of age-related discolouration and a slight crease in the bottom left corner (you should be able to see this in the photos).
Postage cost is within the UK. If you would like a quote for outside of the UK, please let me know and I will investigate costs. Buyer is welcome to pick up from Orpington, Kent.
