SONNY ROLLINS      Saxophone Colossus    (Analogue Prod) Prestige  PRLP 7079
Up for auction is a 2013 Prestige (Analogue Productions) Mono 200g pressing of Sonny Rollins brilliant summer 1956 session, "Saxophone Colossus". Recorded 65 years ago this coming June 22, a stellar session from a stellar quartet. 3 Rollins originals + 1 standard + Kurt Weill's "Moritat". Essential saxophone be-bop lp. These don't come up for sale all that much.  This particular pressing is one of the best listens out there, probably second only to an OG Mono Prestige pressing in terms of fidelity, and this pressing is probably quieter.   DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has PRLP-7079-A and KPG @ CA all etched, and KEVIN GRAY and QRP all stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has PRLP-7079-A and KPG @ CA all etched, and  KEVIN GRAY and QRP into the dead wax. 2013 Analogue Productions 200g pressing, with flat edge, deep groove, and Prestige 50th St. facsimile labels.   VINYL VISUAL:  NM AT BEST with minor sleeve removal marks.....nothing else. Could stand with a cleaning.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM with FANTASTIC fidelity, with very little noise. This improves with a good cleaning.
COVER VISUAL: NM AT BEST with one miniscule bump top right front corner.....nothing else. Numbered 0674.
Comes with OG Quality branded plastic inner. Analogue brands paper 4-page inner there as well, all NM.     DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING
HELLO ALL. My name is Jamie, and I have been collecting records steadily for over 45 years.  After a bit of a respite from selling on Ebay, I am back and will be selling a ton of stuff over the next few years. My tastes run all over the map, so there will be something for everyone. All opened items will be visually AND aurally graded. All Dead Wax info will be listed. Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
If you have issue with an item, PLEASE work with me to achieve an outcome that will be to your satisfaction. I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis. THANKS FOR READING, everyone.       Occasionally I will be selling rare and collectible CDs. Shipping obviously will be much less, around $5 CANADIAN within North America.
