Description
SONNY ROLLINS - SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS, Prestige PRLP-7079, deep groove pressing, 446 W. 50th St on jacket and label, RVG in dead wax.
This 1956 classic features Sonny Rollins (tenor sax), Tommy Flanagan (piano), Doug Watkins (bass), Max Roach (drums).
The tunes are St. Thomas, You Don't Know What Love Is, Strode Rode, Moritat, Blue Seven.
Condition of record is V, somewhat scuffy, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays with some surface noise, but the sound quality is superb. Jacket shows some overall wear, 2 inch seam split upper right, 3 inch seam split lower right, 4 inch seam split bottom center.

G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
