Up for auction is a 2013 Japanese (From The Original Masters series) Blue Note Monophonic pressing of Sonny Rollins first release as leaser for Blue Note. Great quintet session featuring Donald Byrd and Max Roach. Essential mid-50s Blue Note hard bop. This particular pressing is drying up these days. Completely faithful reproduction, the closest to original out there.     
DEAD WAX INFO:  Side 1 has DBLP 038 - 1542 - A and KrG eca all etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has DBLP 038 - 1542 - B and KrG eca all etched into the dead wax.  
VINYL VISUAL: NM with no issues worth mention. Labels are immaculate. Played once, and looks that way. Deep groove and Flat Edge.  
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM with AMAZING fidelity and very little noise. Probably one of the best listens out there of this particular session. These pressings are among the best available Blue Note reissues. 
COVER VISUAL: NM on this glossy frame reproduction single sleeve with no issues. Also includes original repro inner (the early Blue Notes had plain white slightly thicker paper inner sleeves), original insert and obi. 
Vinyl is held in an Audiophile rice plastic inner and cardboard outer.

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
