Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Sonny Rollins “Volume 2” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1558. The playing surface is in beautiful condition, with just two light inaudible handling marks on Side 1; otherwise, there is a nice luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated New York 23 cover is clean throughout, with just ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; normal light age toning on the back slick. Personnel include J.J. Johnson, Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk, Paul Chambers, and Art Blakey. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
