Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched pressing of Sonny Rollins “Tenor Madness” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7047.  Other than an inaudible scuff at the beginning of Side 2, the playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster.  The laminated West 50th St. cover is also in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; small writing at the top and bottom right corners of the back slick; the bottom seam has ¼” wear at the spine, three tiny lamination flakes, and ½” wear at the opening.  Personnel include John Coltrane, Red Garland, Philly Joe Jones, and Paul Chambers.  $250.00.
