Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Sonny Rollins “Plays for Bird” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7095. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with just four tics at the intro to the first track on Side A; “Not for Sale” stamped on the Side A label. The laminated West 50th Street cover shows slight wear at the opening corners, ½” break at the top of the spine and a 1/8” flake near the bottom of the spine; the back slick has normal age toning and a 2 ¼” stain at the bottom right corner. Glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Wade Legge, and Max Roach. $100.00.
