Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Sonny Rollins “Plays for Bird” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7095.  The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with just three tics at the start of the first track on Side 1 and two tics at the start of the first track on Side 2.  The laminated West 50th St. cover is also in excellent condition – clean and bright; 5” closed break at the center of the bottom seam.  Glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Wade Legge, George Morrow, and Max Roach.  $100.00..
