Description

This is an early deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Sonny Rollins “With the Modern jazz Quartet” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7029. The beaded-rim playing surface has a few light, inaudible handling marks but the surface has a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The original non-laminated frame cover has the 446 West 50th St. address, with artwork by Gil Melle; clean throughout; light rubbing along bottom seam; slight rounding to spine corners. Personnel include Miles Davis, Kenny Drew, Art Blakey, and Kenny Clarke.
