Description

This is the RVG-etched pressing of Sonny Rollins “With the Modern jazz Quartet” on the West 50th Street labels of Prestige 7029. The beaded–rim playing surface is in beautiful condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once. The original non-laminated West 50th Street frame cover is clean throughout; light rubbing and 2” split on the bottom seam, at the opening. The cover has the incorrect catalogue number of 7020 on the front and the correct catalogue number on the back. Personnel include Miles Davis, Kenny Drew, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.
