Description
Original deep-groove pressing of Sonny Rollins "Plays for Bird" on the yellow and black West 50th Street labels of Prestige PRLP 7095. The flat-rim playing surface is in virtually new condition - spotless, perhaps played once or twice; the labels show slight spotting; . The laminated cover has the West 50th Street address: on the back the previous owner has corrected "tenor sax" (next to Kenny Dorham's name, an obvious mistake) with "trumpet", written a small number next to each tune title to indicate their playing order and the date (March 28, 1958) at the top edge of the slick; very slight foxing to the back; otherwise, the cover is clean and undamaged throughout.
