Sonny Rollins "Volume 1" 12 Inch LP

Blue Note Records, 1957?, CAT. # BN-LP-1542

Black vinyl is VG+.  Cover is VG to VG+, top has appx. 4" split seam, bottom has 2 split seams, about 4" each, back and front cover look nice, otherwise.

Songs include:  decision / bluesnote / how are things in glocca morra / plain jane / sonnysphere

Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, December 16, 1956   2 strange thing about this album... 1)  the cover image is vertical instead of horizontal like most others i've seen (the opening is on the yellow side, instead of the yellow side on the bottom, see photo).  2)  Side 1 has the 47 West 63rd NYC address, while Side 2 has 161 Lexington Ave NYC.  Both sides have the "33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing"
