    Sonny Rollins
with Jay Jay Johnson, Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk, Paul Chambers, & Art Blakey Original BLUE NOTE Lp pressing, #1558,
 BLUE NOTE BLP 1558, vol.2, Blue White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, RVG, EAR stamped in the dead wax, no "INC" no "R" on the label, and the labels have the "47 WEST 63rd ST., NEW YORK 23" address.   The vinyl shows one very light spindle line, and light checking in the surface caused by years of being stacked in a pile, but neither of those things affect play, it sounds near mint, a beautiful sounding pressing! The cover has light ring wear on the back paste-on and heavy yellowing and age spotting of the paper especially along the spine side. There are two 2 tiny nicks in the spine, light rounding at the corners, otherwise super straight and clean, no splits. Some of the front lamination is peeling up (see pictures).
