Description
- Very hard to find original 1950 New Jazz 10” LP “Sonny Stitt And Bud Powell” (New Jazz NJLP 103) accompanied by Max Roach on drums and Curley Russell on bass.
- The tracklist is: All God’s Children/Sunset/Bud’s Blues/Fine And Dandy/I Want To Be Happy/Strike Up The Band/Taking A Chance On Love/Sonny Side.
- Visually the LP is in excellent condition. The only visual defect is a small scratch at the leading edge of side B that starts in the dead wax and is visible and audible for five grooves of the first track on side B. The playback overall is crisp however, as with virtually all 10" LPs from that era, there is surface noise (at times moderate, other times heavier) throughout the playback. If this will bother you please do not bid. The cover is in amazing condition with no splits, tears, writing or stains and just some very light wear.
